MIT Sloan is the leader of Action Learning in management education today. Our approach integrates theory, real world practice, and personal reflection to develop principled, innovative leaders who solve complex problems and produce systemic changes.
Through our Action Learning Labs, students are immersed in MIT Sloan's signature experiential learning model at organizations in locales throughout the world, where they translate classroom knowledge and theory into practical solutions.
At MIT Sloan, action-based learning offers students opportunities to apply and develop their classroom learning to help real organizations solve real problems. Through ongoing reflection before, during, and after their project work, students bring new insights back to Sloan, enriching their academic experiences, more fully preparing them for their future profesional lives, and strengthening their leadership capabilities. Students may elect to pursue specific interests through a variety of MIT Sloan Action Learning opportunities offered by a range of host organizations.
